Rio Rancho Presbyterian Church is a welcoming, inclusive Christian community of faith celebrating God’s love through worship, caring, learning, fellowship and mission.
RRPC is a young congregation of 220 members and growing. We share our life and ministry together with people of all ages, from our youngest infant to our most mature 90 year olds. We have families of multiple generations, couples and singles. We are young enough to still enjoy the leadership and participation of our 1986 Charter Members. Our community comes from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds. Some are native New Mexicans; others have moved here from different places to work or retire. All people are welcome and invited to fully participate in the life and ministry of our church.
At RRPC, our worship is a blend of both traditional and contemporary styles which is evident in our music and liturgies. The order of our worship follows the Presbyterian Book of Common Worship and our "Directory of Worship." However, we also enjoy liturgies from such places as the Iona Abbey in Scotland, and music from all over the world. Preaching and sacraments are central to Presbyterian worship which is true here at RRPC as well. Our pastor preaches Biblically-based sermons which speak both to our everyday discipleship and the world we live in.
